Ergonomics

Maintaining a poor posture for an extended period of time or an improper chair or desk height can contribute to musculoskeletal conditions and illnesses. Other factors can include repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying or objects. Although you may not be able to control certain factors, such as the physical demands of your everyday activities, there are preventative measures that you may take to avoid developing musculoskeletal conditions. Proper ergonomics and posture are imperative attributing factors to your overall health. By practicing and maintaining good posture, your chances of developing health conditions like carpel tunnel, neck and lower back issues are drastically reduced. While getting treated at our office, we provide a great deal of ergonomic instructions for your daily activities.
